Taking on new clients this month

The website your business should have had all along.

We design it, write it, host it and look after it -- properly, by hand, for £47 a month. No builder to learn, no invoice for every small change, no site quietly rotting because whoever made it stopped replying.

What you actually get

One price. Everything that keeps a website working.

Most web design is sold as a project: you pay once, you get files, and everything afterwards is somebody else's problem. This isn't that.

Designed and written for your business

The pages your business actually needs, planned around what you sell and who you sell it to. We write the copy, choose the photography, set the type and build the layout. You don't get a theme with your name on it, and you don't get a blank page and a login to work out for yourself.

If you have words, photographs or a brand you want kept, we design around them. If you haven't, that's the normal case and we handle it.

Fast by default

Static pages served from a CDN. No plugin bloat, no builder overhead, nothing that gets slower over time.

Hosting and security handled

SSL, backups, updates and uptime monitoring are ours to worry about, not yours.

Your domain, sorted

We'll register one or connect the one you already own, and manage the DNS. It stays in your name.

Ten changes a month

New prices, a new member of staff, a seasonal offer. Ask, and it's done -- usually the same day.

Built to be found

Clean markup, real page titles, sensible structure and local SEO groundwork on every page.

Works on a phone

Most of your customers arrive on one. Every page is designed for that first, not squeezed down afterwards.

Why we built this

Every small business has the same website story.

The version most people end up with: paid for once, never touched again.

The usual way

Built once. Then slowly abandoned.

Someone builds you a site for a few thousand pounds. It looks fine on the day. Then your prices change, and the quote to update them is £180 and a two-week wait. So you leave it. A year later the opening hours are wrong, the photos are of a van you sold, and the developer's email bounces.

Or you try a website builder, spend three weekends fighting it, and end up with something that looks like the template it came from — because it is.

Can you put the new prices up? They went up on Monday.

Done — it's live now.

What it should be: a real team, on the end of a message.

How we do it

Built once, then actually looked after.

We do the design and the writing, and then we keep doing it. Your prices change, you message us, it's live that afternoon. No quote, no ticket number, no invoice.

It's a monthly price because a website is an ongoing thing, not a one-off purchase. That alignment is the entire point: we only keep getting paid if the site keeps being worth paying for.

How it works

Four steps. About twenty minutes of your time.

You will not be asked to learn software, write copy, or choose a colour palette from a grid of four hundred swatches.

Tell us about the business

A short form in plain English: what you do, where you do it, who your customers are, and why someone should call you instead of the next firm. No jargon and no technical questions.

Takes about fifteen minutes, and you can save it and come back.

We design and write it

Our team plans the right page structure around what you've told us, writes the copy, sources the photography and builds the whole thing. You don't touch anything during this part.

You look it over

We send you a link to the finished site before it goes anywhere near the public. Read it properly, and tell us anything you want changed -- wording, images, layout, any of it.

Changes at this stage don't count against your monthly ten.

We put it live and keep it running

We point your domain at it, set up the certificate, and it's live. From then on it's hosted, monitored, backed up and updated by us -- and whenever you want something changed, you ask.

If you need a booking system, a shop, a members' area or an integration with your trade software, we are the wrong fit and we would rather say so now — hire a developer. If you need five excellent pages that make the phone ring, that is exactly what this is.

Questions

The things people actually ask.

Is my website built from a template?

No. Every site is planned around your business specifically -- your services, your area, the customers you actually want. We start from a blank page and what you've told us about the business, not from a theme with your logo dropped into it.

How long does it take to go live?

Most first drafts are ready to preview the same day. Sites commonly go live within two to three days once you've checked the copy and asked for any changes; a domain transfer can add extra waiting time.

Do I need to write anything myself?

No. You tell us about the business in plain English -- what you do, who you do it for, what makes you worth calling -- and we write the pages. If you'd rather supply your own words for a page, you can, and we'll design around them.

What if I need something changed later?

Ask. You get ten changes a month included, with no per-change fee and no minimum. Most are done the same day. This is the part people are usually surprised by: with most agencies a small copy tweak means an email chain and an invoice.

What happens to my domain if I leave?

It's yours. If we registered it for you we'll transfer it to whoever you ask, at no charge. We don't hold domains hostage, and we think it says something about this industry that we have to spell that out.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes, any time, with no long contract and no cancellation fee. Your site stays live until the end of the month you've paid for, plus a 7-day grace period after that.

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly — a person replies, usually within a few hours.
