We do it differently. Our managed website is £47 a month with £0 setup fee and no long contract. We design the site, write every word, host it on our UK servers and keep it up to date with 10 changes a month. You own your domain and your content.

What do I need to give you?

About fifteen minutes. On a short call or a plain-English questionnaire, you tell us what you do, the areas you cover, the services you want more of and how customers get hold of you. If you have a logo or photos of your own work, send them. If not, we use licensed photography that suits your trade. There are no technical questions and nothing asks you to pick a font.

Who writes the words?

We do. A plumber in Shrewsbury doesn’t want to spend an evening writing a homepage, and doesn’t have to. We turn your answers into a homepage that says what you do and why to call, service pages that answer the questions people ask before they book, and an about page that sounds like a real local business. If you’d like to write a page yourself, we design around your words.

How long does a small business website take?

The first draft commonly arrives the same day. You look at it on a private link, tell us what to change, and we change it as many times as it takes before launch. Changes at this stage don’t count against your ten. Most sites are commonly live in 2 to 3 working days. Your old website stays up until you say go, so there’s never a gap.

Will it work on phones and show up on Google?

Every page is checked at phone and laptop sizes before you see it. We set the page titles, descriptions, headings, sitemap and structured data as part of the build, so Google can understand what you do and where. Read more about how we check sites on our quality standards page.

What happens after launch?

You send changes by email, or ask from your account. New prices, a new member of staff, a seasonal banner or a whole new page: each request is one change, and most are done the same day. Hosting, the SSL certificate, backups and monitoring carry on in the background. Your domain and email forwarding are included too, along with enquiry and review tools and an articles section.

Pay monthly website or one-off build?

A one-off build can look cheaper on paper, but you’ll usually pay again for hosting, the domain, the SSL certificate and every change.
