What's new
A short, easy-to-change page for new stock and new makers.
- Updated by email in a line or two
- Photos of the shelves, not stock images
- Featured makers and local producers

£47 a month, design, copy, hosting and changes included. No setup fee, no contract.
Half-day closing, winter hours and bank holidays catch people out. If the website is wrong, they stop trusting it.
New books, new makers, a fresh delivery of cheese. Regulars check before they visit, and it gives them a reason to.
Click-and-collect or a reserve-by-phone service saves a wasted trip, if people know it exists.
Author evenings, tastings and late-night shopping bring people in. They need dates well in advance.

A route to reserve or buy, linked to the system you already use.
Signings, tastings, workshops and late openings in one place.
The ranges, brands and makers people come to you for.
Parking, accessibility and where you are on the high street.
Built for “gift shop near me” and for visitors planning a day in town.
Independent shops win on things the big chains can’t copy: the stock you choose, the makers you know and the person behind the counter. The website’s job is to show that, and to answer the practical questions that decide whether someone makes the trip into town. Are you open, what’s new, can I collect it, and what’s on? A site that answers those quickly, on a phone, does more than a long one that doesn’t.
We start with the basics. Opening hours on the homepage that match Google, including half-day closing and winter hours. A what’s new page you can change by sending us an email and a photo. A page for each part of what you stock, with local makers and producers named and credited. Directions that include the nearest car park and whether there’s step-free access.
If you already sell online, through your own shop, a till system with online ordering or a marketplace, we link to it clearly so customers can order and collect. If you don’t, a reserve or special order form that sends requests straight to your inbox does the job for most bookshops, gift shops and delis.
Events give people a reason to come back. Author evenings, tastings, workshops and Christmas late nights all get dates listed well in advance, with ticket links if you use a booking tool. Keep the site current and it becomes the place regulars check before they head into town, not a page they found once and forgot. We write it all for you after a short call, and ten changes a month are included.
Independent shops are a big part of why people visit market towns here, from locals on a Saturday to tourists on a day out. A good website brings both through the door.
