You see the whole site before it goes anywhere near the public.
When you get access
You will get an email as soon as every page has been designed and reviewed. Until then your dashboard shows each page’s progress individually, so you can see what is done and what is still being worked on.
What the preview shows
Exactly what a visitor would see. Real layout, real content, real images, and working navigation between every planned page.
Two things are deliberately different:
- Links point at the preview rather than your live domain, so clicking around keeps you inside the preview
- The contact form does not send. It is there so you can see it, not test it
How to review it properly
Take fifteen minutes and be systematic. The most common problem is people skim the home page, say “looks great”, and then spot something on the services page three weeks after going live.
Check every page. Including the shorter pages and the ones you assume are fine.
Check it on your phone. Most of your visitors will be on one. The preview is fully responsive — open it on your actual phone rather than trusting a narrow browser window.
Read the words, not just the layout. Design problems are obvious. A wrong phone number is not.
Check the facts specifically. Phone number, email address, opening hours, service area, prices if you have any. These are the things that cost you money if they are wrong.
Ask someone else. Ideally someone who fits your customer profile and has not seen your brief. They will notice things you cannot, because you know too much.
What to do about problems
Write them all down and send them in one revision request rather than five separate ones. It is faster and the result is more coherent.
See how to request a revision for what makes a request easy to act on.
Can I show it to other people?
Yes. The preview link works for anyone you send it to — it does not require them to sign in.
It is not indexed by search engines and it is not linked from anywhere public, so it will not be found by accident. But treat the link as semi-public: anyone you send it to can forward it.
How long can I take?
There is no deadline. Your site sits in preview until you either approve it or ask for changes.
Your subscription starts from when you pay, though, so there is no advantage in leaving it for a month.
