Revisions are unlimited and included. There is no per-change charge and no cap.
How to ask
From your dashboard, open your site, find the page you want changed and choose Request a revision. Describe what you want and submit it.
The page goes back into our queue, gets reworked, gets reviewed by a person again, and comes back to you.
Write requests that get the right result first time
The difference between a revision that lands perfectly and one that takes three rounds is almost entirely in how it was written.
Say what is wrong, not just what to do. “Change the heading to ‘Emergency Electrician Leeds’” gets you that heading. “The heading doesn’t mention we do emergency callouts, which is most of our work” gets you a heading and possibly a better-placed section about callouts.
Be specific about location. “The third section on the services page” or “the paragraph under the phone number”. We can find things from a vague description, but it costs a round trip if we find the wrong one.
Give the actual text for facts. If a phone number is wrong, write the correct one out. Do not make us infer it.
Batch them. One request listing eight changes is faster than eight requests. It also produces a more coherent result, because we can see how the changes relate.
Say if something is a hard requirement. “This must say ‘NICEIC Approved Contractor’ exactly” is useful to know.
Examples
Weak: “The about page needs work.”
Strong: “The about page reads like we’re a big company. We’re two brothers and a van — can it be more personal? Also it says ‘over a decade’ but we started in 2019.”
Weak: “Don’t like the colours.”
Strong: “The green is quite bright and we mostly work with older clients on period properties. Something more muted would suit the work better.”
How long does a revision take?
Small text changes are usually the same day. Restructuring a page or changing the whole visual direction takes longer, because the page is genuinely rebuilt and then re-reviewed.
What if it still is not right?
Ask again. There is no limit, and nobody here is counting. If it takes three rounds to get a page right, it takes three rounds.
