A gentle first step away from you.

A small, calm nursery for children from six months to school age, where the day is built around playing outdoors, eating well, and being properly known by the same few grown-ups.

What makes us a bit different

We are one room, one garden and eleven children a day. That is a deliberate ceiling, not a stage we are trying to grow out of.

The same faces, every day

No rotating agency staff. Your child has one key person who greets them, feeds them and hands them back, and you will have her mobile number.

Outside in all weathers

The garden is used every single day. Waterproofs and wellies live here, so nothing has to be remembered at 7am.

Cooked here, not delivered

One hot meal and two snacks a day, made in our own kitchen. The week's menu goes up on the door every Monday.

A day here, roughly

We do not do open evenings with the toys tidied away. Come at eleven on a weekday and see what it is actually like.
