How to change document root in the control panel

To change the document root in the web hosting control panel, firstly log in via this link here

1. Select the "Manage domain names" icon

2. From here, you'll see your domain name followed by a file path

3. Enter the desired new document root for that specific domain or sub domain

4. Hit save, wait 20 minutes for the change to take effect across all load balancers

Certain software, content management systems or front end libraries may require you to change the document root. It's strongly advised to change the document root if the documentation of whatever software you are using advises you to do so.
